About Us

Family Matters Healthcare Foundation, a 501(C)3 non-profit organization, was borne from the vision of the Executive Director, Dr. Nancy L. Gaines Dillard, DNP. With a holistic view of the healthcare industry within the greater Phoenix, AZ metropolitan area inclusive of Maricopa County, 'Dr. Nancy' (as she is affectionately referred to) embarked upon a journey to make a positive impact on families residing in the community. 

The vision of the Foundation is to take an integrative approach to healthcare in the community. By maximizing relationships with corporate foundations for funding, healthcare organizations with diversified services, community organizations, and other key stakeholders, Family Matters Healthcare Foundation  is strategically positioned to make a long term impact on the lives of the residents in the community. 

Our approach to effective outreach is found in the Foundation's mantra and core belief 'the ability to provide Servant Leadership in every aspect of our activities.'  By incorporating volunteers, local residents, churches, nonprofit organizations, city and municipal agencies into our programmatic initiatives, health fairs, and other events, the Foundation is able to achieve its goals and  objectives by connecting with each family and individuals and address their holistic healthcare needs 'mind, body and spirit.'

With each and every opportunity presented, the Foundation is committed to achieving maximum success. The short and long term results are our primary objective.
